Yes, our wall brackets are dual purpose.

What size should be reserved to install the product?
1. When the bracket is fixed on the back of the awning, the bracket should be at least 1.18" (30 mm) away from the top wall.
2. When the bracket is fixed on the top of the awning, the bracket should be at least 0.98" (25 mm) away from the top wall.

Is it windproof?
You can connect the bungee cords on the bottom of the shade with clips that mount on the wall.
